The Cool Kids are back.
After announcing Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe, their first album in six years, the duo of Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks returns with “9:15Pm,” an old school-flavored banger featuring Jeremih. With the R&B crooner handling the song’s infectious hook, Inglish and Rocks borrow inspiration from classic hip-hop records, including Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.”
“If the Trump campaign can run these states,” raps Sir Michael Rocks. “Then this shit fin’a break and I can’t wait.”
“9:15Pm” is a single off The Cool Kids’ forthcoming album, Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe , which is also set to featur Hannibal Buress, Travis Barker, Syd, and more. The 16-track set is available for pre-order now and will be released Sept. 15.
