“Gentleman.” The track is filled with references to Taylor’s ongoing beefs with both Kanye West and Katy Perry and has already racked up 393,700 pageviews on Genius.
The historic numbers on Taylor’s new video average out to about 30,000 views per minute during its first day of release. The song’s lyric video also amassed 19 million views in it’s first full day, breaking the YouTube lyric video record for most views in a single day, too. “Something Like This” by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers previously held the lyric video record.
