Chanel West Coast and SAFAREE on their exes. The fellow television and music stars join forces on “New Bae,” an anthem for anybody moving on from heartbreak.
Over high-energy production, the “Ridiculousness” co-host sings about why she’s excited about her new relationship. “I already got a new bae,” she sings. “Motherfucker, you’re too late / You say that you’re sorry, but I can’t believe that you’d treat me this way / You tried to come back in my life but you already know that it’s too late / ‘Cause got a new bae.”SB, who’s been vocal about his high-profile romance in the past, also comes through with a verse about an ill-fated relationship. “Listen, old bae, I’m tired of you,” he raps. “I don’t see the fire in you / You washed, I’ma put the dryer to you / You a geek, I see the Quagmire in you / I’m the boss and ain’t nobody hiring you.”
Beyond his collaboration with Chanel, Stuntman is also working on his long-awaited project, Shoulda Been Did It , which is expected to arrive at some point this year. It has already spawned tracks like “Time,” “Paradise” with Sean Kingston, and “Bad Energy” featuring K. Michelle.
