Kodak Black just dropped his mixtape Project Baby 2 and now he’s back with a new video for its tenth track “Transportin'.” The C-ClipBeatz produced song is about Kodak’s past experiences in the street, and samples Geto Boys‘ 1991 single “Mind Playing Tricks On Me.” The video is directed by Sniper Gang Films, Kodak’s video and photography collective.
The bright video starts with Kodak in his bedroom, adorned in Florida Gators gear. The rest of the video features more shots of his home, including his recording studio and a scene showcasing his motorcycle and luxury cars, which are all Gators orange. Kodak speeds out of his neighborhood in one of the cars, bringing the video to a close.
The song is about Kodak taking his money everywhere he goes. He even flashes a bookbag filled with cash, which reflects the lyrics:
I’m doin' five, got that bag, yeah I’m transportin'
I got that bag on me nigga, like I’m Jansportin'
He dropped his mixtape, thought I woulda reposted
I ain’t post his mixtape ‘cause I don’t fuck with shawty
“Transportin'” is the first video off of Project Baby 2. The project is a sequel to Kodak’s 2013 mixtape Project Baby, which features the title track and “Sign.”
